Pathways Cooks Volunteer!

“I’ve been volunteering with Pathways Cooks since the program started.  It’s been an extremely rewarding and enriching experience for me not just because it’s for such a worthy cause but because I’ve learned so much about eating healthily through the nutritious meals we make and it’s also been a way for me to give back.  Both my parents died of cancer in 2002 and while they were sick, I was so grateful for all the times that friends and family showed their support by bringing them home cooked meals. Pathways Cooks has similarly touched the lives of so many women while undergoing chemotherapy and the thank you letters we’ve received have been very moving and gratifying.  We have a great group of volunteers in the Program and I encourage anyone thinking of volunteering to do so.”
