Our 2017 Annual Giving Campaign is underway – members and friends are asked to support the Community Service and Scholarship Fund, which enables children, adults and seniors to participate in educational, recreational, fitness and social service programs, regardless of their economic circumstance.

This year, the theme of our Annual Campaign is “There’s Something About This Place”. We pride ourselves on being a place where everyone can participate and feel welcome. We strive to bring together individuals from all backgrounds and abilities, creating a community where everyone can feel “connected”.

To help raise awareness to our Annual Campaign and to help get everyone involved, each department held a “Pledge Event” between February and March. Members of all ages raised money for our Community Service and Scholarship Fund, while having fun doing something they love!

We kicked off our pledge events with an “Open Gym” day where the kids had free reign of our big gymnastics gym to play, exercise, practice gymnastics skills and have FUN!

Our open gym event was followed by a Mega Swim-a-thon for swimmers of all ages- the day concluded with a family swim, complete with a “Biggest Splash Contest”.

Families enjoyed a Friday night out with our “Minute to Win It” styled STEAM Challenge. They had fun together while experimenting with the principles of physics – motion, force, and energy in 10 silly minute long challenges.

Our dancers pledged to keep it moving for our Jungle Boogie Dance-a-thon. Summit Soundz led the kids through dances to popular music, dance games and party dances!

Our adult members Salsa, Merengue and Mamboed their way to a good cause at the Zumba-thon Party. Six of our instructors led the group through 90 minutes of Zumba! Our Total Facility members also had the opportunity to challenge themselves in the Fitness Center. Personal Trainers gave participants a new 20 minute non-stop workout to do 3x per week!

Donations to our Community Service and Scholarship Fund allow us to provide $250,000 in scholarships each year and provide vital services to those in our community who are often overlooked. If you would like to make a donation to our Annual Giving Campaign, click here.
