BEVERLY JOHNSON

Beverly is the director of The Connection’s Heart-to-Heart Program, a collaboration with Overlook Hospital in which RNs monitor cardiac patients’ post-op exercise program. She has also served on the Board of Directors at The Connection. Beverly was born in Summit and graduated from Winston Salem University (NC) with a BS in Nursing. Work experience includes Overlook Pediatric and Pediatric Clinics in Newark and Livingston. Beverly was the Patient Care Coordinator (Psychiatry and Alcohol Units) at Runnels Hospital in Berkeley Heights, and has worked in the Summer Enrichment Program at Foundation Baptist Church in Summit. Continuing education has been through Rutgers, Kean, Union County College and Fair Oaks Hospital.
