Cassi Mendez has been involved with the Gymnastics Program for the past 9 years and is currently the Assistant Director. She has a Masters in Communications and is a former competitive gymnast and cheerleader. Cassi is one of the coaches year-round for our competitive gymnastic team. Kelly has been with The Connection for 13 years and this is her 8th year as Travel Camp Director. After three years at Franklin Elementary School as a 5th Grade teacher, she now teaches Kindergarten at Wilson Primary Center. Whenever she has free time, she is traveling, whether overseas or to fun and interesting places nearby. She can’t wait to experience all of these new day trips with the campers this summer! This past weekend three Connection members, as well as myself, participated in Rutgers’ annual Big Chill 5K Run/Walk (that is 3 miles). The registration fee was a $15 toy. There were over 8,000 toys donated that were going to children in need throughout the state. Read More …
