Routine mammograms are one of the most effective tools in the early detection of breast cancer, when it is most treatable. Detecting cancer early can significantly increase survival rates and reduce the need for more extensive treatment. The Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation and Pathways are committed to making these life-saving screenings accessible to all women, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Pathways offers free support, education, and wellness programs for women with cancer, fostering a compassionate community where shared experiences inspire healing and personal growth. “Many women delay or avoid mammograms due to fear, lack of access, or financial concerns,” said Lesley Andrews, Director of Pathways. “Our goal is to remove those barriers by bringing screenings directly into the community. We want every woman to know that she matters, her health matters, and she’s not alone.”
