Stretching and improved flexibility can:
- Improve your performance in physical and daily activities.
- Decrease your risk of falling and injury.
- Help your joints move through their full range of motion.
- Increase muscle blood flow, enabling muscles to work most effectively.
- Relieve pain associated with muscle tightness and spasms.
- Release endorphins which reduce stress and anxiety.
Please wear comfortable and layered clothing and wear sneakers. Bring a mat. If you are unable to get on the floor, you can still participate in most of the workshop with a chair.
