Pathways , a program of The Connection for Women and Families, provides support, education and wellness for women with cancer, creating a community in which shared experiences lead to personal growth and healing. Pathway is committed to empowering women to recognize their strengths and encouraging them to make choices that enable them to become their own self-care advocates. Programs are available free of charge to female cancer survivors.

Our ongoing support groups: Monday - Recurrent Breast Cancer Support Group Tuesday - General Cancer Support Group; for women with any type of cancer at any stage of treatment: newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment or post treatment. Tuesday - Gynecological Cancer Support Group; for women with ovarian and other gynecological cancers, at any stage of treatment: newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment or post treatment. Tuesday Evening - Facing Breast Cancer Together; for women at any stage of breast cancer treatment: newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment or post treatment. Fridays- for 6 weeks Beginning Sept 18th - Young women's breast cancer support group for women dealing with issues raised by being diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age.
The Pathways Women's Cancer Teaching Project through which trained survivors provide educational programs to physicians, nurses, other hospital professionals and the community. These sessions allow for patients to describe their experiences with cancer focusing on initial diagnosis, quality of life, and encounters with physicians and the health care system.
